SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Account Manager for Maintenance Department assume responsibility for the successful and profitable management of employees, customers, and equipment/materials for all accounts assigned. Maintenance Account Manager makes assignments by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines based on customer expectations. Work and assists the Crew Leader with unusual situations or problems which do not have clear precedents.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage client properties to achieve maximum results reflected in overall property appearance while maintaining profitability
- Work seamlessly and communicate well with area managers, arbor managers, crew leaders to provide best customer service, highest quality service and best-looking properties possible to clients
- Meet or exceed budget goals; complete billing and proposals in a timely and successful manner
- Hire, train and develop crew leaders / crew members; schedule and direct personnel to be as efficient, safe and productive as possible; complete and review timesheets for accuracy
- Ensure all work, individually or by team members is done in a safe and compliant manner
- Occasionally participate in field work, attend Company’s meeting as needed to meet Company’s budget as well as set good examples for all employees
- Monitor accounts receivables on a consistent basis to ensure that all accounts are collected
- Exceptional customer service and delivery to all customer -existing or potential, internal and external: being pro-active, building loyalty, customer satisfaction and follow thru
- Professional demeanor is a must: represent Company in a professional manner with integrity and honesty in all dealings. Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain administrative continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- College preferred
- At least three to five years of previous account management experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 8 hours or more a day):
While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel. In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures and weather conditions, intense noise, hazardous materials, or lifting or carrying heavy objects. The employee must be physically coherent and aware at all times especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.
