Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at various client locations, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards and in accordance with cleaning guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for the morning shift (6:00 AM - 11:00 AM) at client locations and perform cleaning duties to expected standards.
- Ensure the facility is locked and secure upon completion of tasks.
- Complete a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, polishing woodwork, cleaning tables, scrubbing toilets, and washing windows.
- Check and restock dispensers and supplies (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, and seat covers) as needed during shifts.
- Replace mop heads and vacuum bags when required.
- Inspect work to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Monitor and request inventory supplies through the Area Supervisor or Manager as needed.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, such as worn carpets, unstable furniture, or leaking toilets, either verbally or via checklists.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of products, equipment, and incident reporting procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to follow instructions and adapt to new cleaning methods.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Prior commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not mandatory.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 20 pounds for short durations.
- Must be 18 years or older, hold a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation.
