General Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to providing high-quality service to ensure spaces are welcoming and hygienic.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as buffing and waxing as needed.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are in good condition.
• Execute custodial duties in accordance with established protocols for safety and efficiency.
• Support commercial and industrial cleaning efforts by following specific guidelines for each environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Skills

• Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Experience in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of different surfaces.
• Knowledge of custodial practices in both residential and commercial settings.
• Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
