CleanDesign is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Design, Test and Manufacturing Engineer with 12 years of expertise in the design, development, and testing of control and electrical systems. This role is critical to supporting our growth and innovation in sustainable battery energy solutions and automated system design.
Responsibilities
- Proficient with the setup, configuration and operation of power electronics (including lithium ion batteries, inverters, and DC converters) and related controls
- Design product specifications of sub-assemblies and parts
- Implementation of PFMEA, Control Plan, Value Stream Maps, process flow charts, instruction sheets, etc.
- Oversee the inspection, testing, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
- Supervise the building and testing of all assemblies and prototypes according to general instructions and established standards. Manage all engineering changes.
- Oversee the all testing and commissioning of CleanDesign’s products including the hybrid Energy Management System (hEMS) prior to delivery to the client.
- Manage the preparation and review of shop drawings, record drawings and user manuals.
- Oversee quality control, assembly and testing of equipment and component parts and departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 12 years experience with manufacturing and development of electrical equipment including any of high energy and power batteries, electric motor drives and grid connected inverters.
