Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at a wedding hall, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
We clean this property 2-4 times per week. The venue takes right at about 5 hours to clean properly. We are offering $100 per cleaning, which will come to $20 per hour. The cleaning will always start between 11:00PM - 12:00AM, and you will finish between 4:00AM - 5:00AM.
There will be events and weddings the following day after each clean, so it is important everything is placed correctly at all times. The routine is already in place and we will train you for the first few weeks to ensure that you are well familiar with everything, before cleaning the venue on your own.
You will need the following supplies:
Gloves, Rags, Disinfectant Spray, Windex,
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Arrange and organize tables and chairs.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
