Location: Buffalo NY
Schedule: Night Shift 7pm – 7:30am
Generous shift differential pay for weekend and extended-hour coverage
What You’ll Do:
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot power, control, and information systems used to support production operations.
- Learn! You will be working along experienced technicians and engineers committed to growing your expertise in this discipline.
- Diagnose problems and, where needed, repair instrumentation, control, 480V power components, and drive system hardware.
- Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and related equipment.
- Assist in maintaining safety systems and emergency shutdown procedures.
- Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.

Above-average computer aptitude with specific experience in:
- Software/hardware installation
- Network configuration and troubleshooting
- Suitability to working in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated commitment to the application of safe working practices.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficient use of troubleshooting tools and equipment, including multi-meters, meggars, power monitors, and loop simulators.
- Hands-on project experience is a plus.
- Experience with or training on object-oriented programming languages (C , Visual Basic, Java) is a plus.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology, Industrial Controls, Mechatronics, or related field, trade school experience, or other equivalent work experience
- 2–10 years of experience in a control system or industrial automation role.
