Engineering Controls Technician – Night & Weekend Support
At CleanFiber, we're on a mission to revolutionize the building materials industry through sustainability and innovation. We produce high-performance cellulose insulation from recycled corrugated cardboard using a unique and patented process. As an industry disruptor in the fast-growing insulation market, we’re scaling rapidly with our flagship production facility in Buffalo, NY, leading the way.
We are seeking two Engineering Controls Technicians to provide night and weekend support for our cellulose insulation production facility. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in industrial controls while supporting cutting-edge manufacturing technology in a growth-stage company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain automated control systems for CleanFiber's production facility.
- Assist in troubleshooting PLC systems , sensors, and instrumentation.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of control equipment .
- Document system changes and maintain accurate technical records .
- Support process optimization initiatives through data collection and analysis .
- Collaborate with senior engineers on control system modifications and improvements.
- Help maintain safety systems and emergency shutdown protocols.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs.
- Work regularly scheduled night / weekend shifts , with flexibility for overtime as needed.
