Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness & ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on high standards of hygiene and facility upkeep.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in a commercial setting.
- Carry out cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas & restocking supplies
- Respond promptly to custodial requests from staff or management to address urgent cleaning needs.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
