Early morning Janitor for retail store: Days TBD mornings 8am-11 am

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that our facilities are safe and welcoming for all occupants.

Must have: transportaion, great communication, follow instructions, work independtly and/as team. Punctual on time due to time restraints

Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow SOW cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned in a timely manner

Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and procedures
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus

This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Buff floors and maintain floor care to ensure surfaces are clean and presentable.
• Conduct residential painting as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities.
• Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Execute commercial cleaning duties in various settings, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Serve as a porter, assisting with the movement of supplies and materials as required.
• Maintain custodial supplies inventory and request replenishments when necessary.
• Engage in industrial cleaning processes to meet specific facility requirements.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Skills

• Proficiency in buffing techniques and floor care practices.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Strong background in facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to maintain a clean workspace while adhering to safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

• Weekends as needed
