Maintenance Technician
Shift : Varies – Approx 4 hours a week during the hours of Monday – Friday 3PM - 10PM
Salary : $22.00 / hr
Location : Stevens Point
Job Duties :
Ensures timely completion (48 hours) of all assigned work orders.
Assess, diagnose, and complete repairs on equipment such as imops, vacuums, sweepers, or scrubbers.
Use of hand and power tools on a regular basis (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, etc.)
Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of equipment and building.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
General knowledge of components and pumps (vacuums / sweepers)
Ability to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues with machinery
Knowledge of wiring, controls, and automatic systems
Ability to identify, diagnose, and correct the damaged equipment
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and gauges
Knowledge of battery-operated machinery
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
Experience in building maintenance such as small drywall repairs, fixtures, and painting (Preferred)
Safety
Follows all company safety policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
Understand how to safely operate and maintain equipment; Inspects equipment before each use; uses personal protective equipment when necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications :
2-years work experience in similar type role.
- Must be able to work on call;
You must be 18 years old.
For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
Ability to lift (including over your head), up to 50 pounds frequently, or if more than 50 pounds with lift assistance.
You must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
Good driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check. (Preferred)
