Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A strong background in custodial services, floor care, and facilities maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Buff and polish floors to maintain their appearance and longevity.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and maintained to high standards.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed in various settings.
- Assist with residential painting projects when required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
