Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of technicians in performing repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
- Lead product testing and validation of hardware components (i.e. hash boards, power suppliers, fans etc.).
- Lead inventory management initiatives including procurement and backlog.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, metrics, and resource allocation.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently according to guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to mining operations.
- Monitor metrics/KPIs for team's location.
- Assist team with ancillary tasks as needed to meet departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- ~3 years technician experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
- ~ Understanding of electronic components, their functions, and their interactions within circuits.
- ~ Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- ~ Knowledge of inventory tracking.
- ~ Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- ~ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- ~ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- ~ Basic computer skills for documenting work and communicating.
- ~ Ability to handle small and delicate components without causing damage.
- ~ Familiarity with Antminer Series 17 & 19 equipment is a plus.
- ~ Bitman repair certification is a plus.
- ~ Background in trouble shooting electrical functionality is a plus.
- ~ Clear and effective communication skills.
- ~ Willingness to travel as needed to other shop locations.
- ~ Able to lift 50-75 lb.
