PROJECT HAS BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT SINCE APRIL 2023.DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : COORDINATING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE IMPLEMENTATION TEAM AND SMES WITH THE VENDOR PARTNERS, INTEGRATIONS, MAINTAINING A CADENCE OF ACCOUNTABILITY, DAILY STAND UP MEETINGS, WEEKLY REPORTS TO THE EXECUTIVE SPONSORS, ETC.We are seeking a full-time Project Manager (PM) to assist with the transition from our existing on-premise Enterprise Resource Management System (Ellucian’s Colleague) to a cloud-based solution (Anthology), to include 20 integrations, such as Modern Campus, Kronos, and Touchnet. We are 85% complete with the project, having been working since 2022 with an existing PM. We anticipate the contract date to be March 6, 2025 – December 31, 2025. The person we seek must possess a myriad of skill sets including, but not limited to : 1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. How to approach people at all levels of the institution, tactfully articulate messaging, building relationships to build trust throughout the organization.2. Critical thinking and problem-solving – avoid reacting. We are looking for someone to be objective, analyze facts, evaluate options without bias and deliver results on time and within budget.3. Technical Expertise – The project manager should be familiar with ERP systems in general and higher education specifically, particularly the specifics of Enrollment, Federal Financial Aid, Course Scheduling, state, and federal reporting requirements, and the nuances of finance, HR, and payroll as it relates to higher ed.4. Negotiation skills - maintaining the goal of project completion on time and under budget will require a PM with the ability to collaborate and compromise and have tactful discussions about scope creep, resources, timelines, deadlines, and budgets while keeping relationships intact.5. Planning, scheduling, and time management – PM must be an expert at planning, juggling multiple schedules, and anticipating roadblocks or barriers. This includes identifying any potential risks and developing a plan to mitigate the risk should it occur.6. Leadership qualities – the PM should not be all things to all people – in other words, a strong leader will coach, guide, and communicate the outcomes. The PM will delegate tasks appropriately, provide constructive feedback, and allow team members to learn the product to become subject matter experts.Skills : REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE) : EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH WRITTEN AND ORAL.
