Chemical Feed is seeking a full-time Staff / Senior Accountant at its office and manufacturing facility in Vineland, New Jersey. The Staff / Senior Accountant is responsible for and will support the monthly close process, sales and other tax filings, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting. This position reports to the Financial Controller.
Essential Job Functions
- Monthly close and associated entries for the Velodyne division.
- Ensure all intercompany transactions are recorded on a timely basis and that intercompany accounts remain in balance.
- Support sales and other tax filings.
- Account reconciliations including inventory. Investigate any significant variances.
- Support annual financial audit requirements and deliverables.
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Assist with budget and forecast preparation as needed.
