Entry Level Diamond Turning Technician

Clear Align is looking for an Entry-Level Diamond Turning Technician to join our Optical Fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, highly organized, excels at multitasking, and has excellent priority management skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operation of CNC Optical machines under the supervision of experience technicians
• Follow detailed instructions to produce precision optical components
• Conducting optical metrology equipment to include Zygo Interferometer, Luphos, Talysurf, and other measuring devices
• Measuring radii, irregularities, diameters, thicknesses, sag, bevel, surface roughness, surface quality
• Follow standard operating procedures for optical components
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
• Accurately document production processes and results

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude, and basic understanding of machining principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training is a plus
• 1-3 years of hands-on precision machining or optical component production is a plus
• Knowledge of metrology and inspection tools is a plus
• Working knowledge of MIL Specs, and MIL Standards is a plus
• U.S Person Required
