The Trainer will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. Duties - Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of participants. - Educate individuals on workforce development strategies and employment labor laws. - Provide mentoring support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering their growth and independence. - Collaborate with other professionals in the field, including social workers and case managers, to create holistic training experiences. - Facilitate workshops and group sessions focused on skills to improve the quality of life for program participants. - Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments. - Maintain accurate records of participant progress and program outcomes. Experience - Proven experience in workforce development or related fields is essential. - Familiarity with employment labor laws and best practices in recruiting is highly desirable. - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. - Background in social work is a plus - Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. - Demonstrated ability to develop effective training materials and deliver engaging presentations. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for success in this role.
