You'll have the flexibility to work remotely in Santa Barbara, Ventura, or Los Angeles Counties or join us in our vibrant Santa Barbara office, located just blocks from the beach. Key Responsibilities :
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential projects, ensuring safety, stability, and adherence to building codes for both wood and steel construction.
- Collaborate with architects during the design phase to integrate structural solutions seamlessly.
- Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and municipal agencies.
- Conduct site visits and inspections during construction to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and submittals.
- Attend client meetings and present technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
