Primary Purpose

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor and direct the work of custodians at assigned campus.
- Must take charge of all activities and relay night activities to evening operator.
- Help in the scheduling and training of custodians.
- Oversee and participate in all custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
- Monitor timecards of all custodial employees.
- Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the operations department.
- Strive constantly to promote the safety and security of the building.
- Be responsible for the general fire safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
- Strive constantly to promote district energy management and IPM programs.
- Perform emergency repairs and cleaning service as necessary.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance as necessary.
- Keep building and premises, including sidewalks and driveways, neat and clean at all times.
- Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are secured and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
- Schedule and participate in the district Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by district Incident Commander.
- Be available for after-hours demands.
