Job Title: Estimator – Water Treatment Projects

Job Summary:
Clear Creek Systems, Inc. is a leading water treatment services company founded in 1994 with operations throughout the U.S. The Estimator is responsible for estimating & design of water treatment projects. The Estimator will participate in all aspects of the bid/estimating process from review of plans and specifications, negotiating prices from subcontractors and suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Estimating
- Prepares and maintains status of plan reproduction, solicits, and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors, and prepares subcontractor bid packages.
- Collaborates with the management team to ensure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subs for the job.
- Analyzes and compiles estimate data that impacts labor costs, materials, equipment requirements, location and other factors to ensure a timely estimate.
- Reviews drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions, records findings and solicits input from Senior Management and field operations in final project estimate
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with owners. Completes take-offs to confirm quantities and ensures accuracy of drawings.
- Develops complete estimates for review by Senior Management and submittal to Owner.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Desired Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Chemical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the field of water or wastewater treatment.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of the design build process and associated documents and contracts.
- Advanced knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
- Advanced knowledge of various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerance.
- Strong computer skills and familiarization with software programs for job costing, scheduling, and estimating.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 DOE
