Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance for systems in industrial, commercial, and utility sectors.
• Test and troubleshoot switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
• Calibrate and test electromechanical and microprocessor-based protective relays.
• Develop and execute test plans and reports in accordance with NETA standards and customer specifications.
• Provide technical expertise for system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and lead on-site safety briefings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure project execution aligns with design and compliance.
• Communicate system performance and test results effectively to clients.

Qualifications:

• NETA Level 3 or Level 4 Certification
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and control panels
• Familiarity with relay testing equipment (e.g., Doble 6150, Omicron) and relay test software
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, protection, and control diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Travel within Texas may be required based on site locations
