What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Clear Horizon Eyecare?
Our practice is looking to add a new team member to our expanding practice.
Ideally, the Optometric Technician that we hire will have some experience in the field: pre-testing patients for doctors (patient history taking, ARK, NCT, lensometry), special testing, scheduling patient appointments, basic eye anatomy and visual condition knowledge. Experience with insurances/billing and optical dispensing is greatly appreciated. We may be willing to train skills needed for the right candidate.
As a smaller practice, our daily needs fluctuate. A well-matched candidate should be a self-starter who is flexible and easily able to accommodate changes in the schedule and/or needs of the practice. This position may be cross-trained with front desk reception as well as optical. All other roles will be provided education and support as needed.
Local population includes English, Polish and Spanish speaking patients.
Office has new technology and a smaller staff which is very welcoming.
