Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary underwriter for new acquisitions
- Conduct monthly reporting, including variance analyses
- Prepare financials for upcoming portfolio dispositions
- Assist with financial due diligence on all new portfolios
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Participate in the development and refinement of new financial models
- Collaborate with the Director of Analytics to synthesize underwriting for key stakeholders, including lenders, investors, the CIG investment committee, fund advisory committees, and other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned in collaboration with the Director of Analytics.
Desired Experience / Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent internships)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in financial modeling
- Understanding of real estate underwriting fundamentals (multifamily experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to self-validate and a passion for delivering accurate deliverables
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- SQL and or VB experience is a plus
