Overview
As a Property Management Associate you will be focusing on delinquencies and collections. You will play a crucial role in assisting the property management and accounting teams. Your primary responsibility will be to help monitor, manage, and collect rent or payments that are overdue for properties within our portfolio. You will assist in the coordination of collection processes and communications with tenants to resolve delinquencies in a timely and professional manner. This position will also be assigned ad-hoc projects that assist the operations and asset management team. This is a great entry level role for those interested in growing their career within property management and the real estate industry.

About you:
1 year of multi-family property manager or real estate administration preferred
Operations experience with collections, leasing, maintenance, and property reporting
Excellent communicator; able to collaborate with colleagues professionally and compassionately, vendors, and residents
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe a major plus
Core Responsibilities:

Monitor and track delinquencies across the property portfolio.
Collections - Assist in contacting tenants to discuss overdue payments and develop repayment plans.
Maintain detailed records of all communications and collection efforts.
Collaborate with property management and accounting teams to report and address collection issues.
Generate and distribute delinquency and collections reports for management review.
Assist in preparing legal documents for delinquent accounts as needed (e.g., notices, evictions).
Help maintain up-to-date contact information and payment records for tenants.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Respond to tenant inquiries regarding billing and payment status.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws regarding collections and tenant relations.
Work on specific projects as needed by Asset Management, Regional and Area Managers
Support property management associates with projects
Assist with day-to-day support of property management across all portfolios
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
