Position Overview:

Clear Motivations is seeking a talented, innovative, and detail-oriented Graphic & Website Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually compelling graphics for our digital platforms and creating engaging, user-friendly website experience. As a Graphic & Website Designer, you'll work closely with a participant in a job coach role, guiding them through various tasks while honing your own creative skills.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design: Create eye-catching and effective visual assets for digital marketing campaigns, including social media posts, email newsletters, web banners, ads, and promotional materials.
• Website Design: Develop and maintain a visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive website that aligns with the brand’s vision and meets the needs of our audience.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work is consistent with Clear Motivations’ brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
• UX/UI Design: Collaborate with developers to design seamless user experiences, ensuring the website is easy to navigate, visually engaging, and optimized for conversions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align design work with marketing goals, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
• Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and Director, making updates and revisions as needed.
• Stay Current: Keep up with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our designs remain fresh, innovative, and competitive.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of graphic and website design experience, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in both fields.
• Design Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools (Sketch, Figma, etc.).
• Web Design Skills: Experience with website design and development, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Squarespace, or Webflow. We use Wix and Spaces App.
• UI/UX Design: Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Creativity & Innovation: A strong eye for design with the ability to conceptualize and bring new ideas to life.
• Attention to Detail: High standards for design quality and a keen eye for consistency, spacing, typography, and color usage.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive clients (if required).
• Valid California Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Valid vehicle registration and insurance.
• Clear background check and successful drug screen pass.
• No experience? No problem! We provide the training you need.
• Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude.

Preferred Qualifications (optional):

• Experience with animation or video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application in design.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and integration with website design.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• As a Web Designer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with participants who are eager to learn web design. Are you comfortable coaching and mentoring a participant, sharing your expertise, and guiding them through the design process?
