The Program Manager will advance this mission by overseeing initiatives funded by the Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) in Massachusetts, ensuring seamless delivery of services and consistent support for Veterans and their families.
Position Overview
The EOVS Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, and administration of programs funded by the Executive Office of Veterans Services within Massachusetts. This position ensures high-quality service delivery, effective team coordination, and adherence to program guidelines, with a focus on benefits administration, advocacy, and transitional support. The Program Manager will lead a team of program coordinators, case managers, outreach specialists, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote innovative solutions and impactful outcomes for Veterans and their families.
Job Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Oversight:
- Lead and manage daily operations of EOVS initiatives in Massachusetts.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, funding regulations, and Clear Path policies and procedures.
- Oversee benefits administration and advocacy efforts, ensuring Veterans have access to resources and support.
Team Management and Support
- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to all team members.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to foster professional growth and enhance team collaboration.
- Offer guidance and support to staff in managing complex cases, promoting effective problem-solving and resource optimization.
Service Delivery and Quality Assurance
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of client services, ensuring quality from intake assessment through service planning and goal attainment.
- Direct the delivery of benefits administration, advocacy efforts, and transitional support services to enhance client outcomes.
- Ensure accurate data entry and compliance with data management systems.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build partnerships with local agencies, nonprofits, and community stakeholders in to facilitate program success.
- Represent Clear Path at community outreach events, forums, and discussions on Veteran Support initiatives.
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare required reports for EOVS related programs and ensure compliance with reporting guidelines.
- Evaluate program impact and actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance outcomes for Veterans and their families.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration, Veteran services, or social services program management, with proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams across multiple locations.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. Masters degree is a plus.
Skills and Attributes
