POSITION OVERVIEW
Manage company finances, human resources, and day-to-day office administration for a Pennsylvania-based strategic communications firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage bookkeeping, invoicing and accounts receivable / accounts payable, and financial reporting to support decision making, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Work closely with outside accounting and payroll firm to maintain efficient accounting processes and internal controls and monitor payroll and related tax filings
- Ensure that all company taxes are timely paid and all government reporting requirements are met
- Manage the firm’s human resources, including employee processing and compensation, development and management of all benefits including insurance, leave and compensation
- Work with outside firms to oversee 401(k) plan and insurance benefits
- Responsible for day-to-day administration to keep office running smoothly, including office systems and supplies and equipment procurement
- Manage all internal maintenance and office issues
- Provide administrative support and customer service
