Tableau Developer

Our client is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our healthcare analytics team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that provide critical insights into healthcare data. This role requires strong data visualization skills, expertise in Tableau, and a solid understanding of healthcare data sources such as EHR, claims, and patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support healthcare decision-making.
• Gather and analyze healthcare data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to optimize data models for visualization.
• Translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights for stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and executives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA while handling sensitive patient information.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
• Conduct user training and provide support for Tableau-based reporting tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Tableau development, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and ICD codes.
• Experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and claims data.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in healthcare.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation.
• Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics in healthcare.
• Tableau certification is a plus.
