We’re seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and personable Optician with at least 4 years of experience to join our team. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring every eyewear experience is exciting, informative, and seamless. If you’re passionate about helping people see and feel their best, this role is perfect for you!

What You’ll Do & Why You’ll Love It:Be a Personal Stylist for Vision

• Guide patients in selecting frames that enhance both their vision and personal style.
• Offer expert advice on frame materials, shapes, and colors to complement their lifestyle and preferences.

Ensure the Perfect Fit

• Take precise measurements, including pupillary distance and optical center height, to ensure accuracy.
• Adjust, repair, and fine-tune eyewear for ultimate comfort and clarity.
• Troubleshoot complex prescription issues, identifying and resolving visual discomfort or adaptation challenges.

Be a Glasses Superhero

• Repair and maintain patients’ glasses, whether it’s tightening screws, replacing nose pads, or reshaping frames.
• Inspect optical jobs for accuracy, quality, and alignment with prescriptions before dispensing.

Deliver Top-Quality Eyewear

• Process eyewear orders efficiently and communicate with labs to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Verify finished lenses against prescriptions and quality standards before dispensing them to patients.

Be an Eyewear Educator

• Explain lens options, coatings, and treatments so patients feel confident in their choices.
• Educate patients on the proper care and maintenance of their eyewear for long-lasting performance.

Master the Insurance Puzzle

• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage in a way that’s clear and easy to understand.
• Submit and track claims, ensuring timely submissions and efficiently resolving any denials or issues with insurance providers.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and manage insurance-related billing issues with accuracy and follow-up.

Keep the Optical Flowing

• Manage inventory and stock levels for frames, lenses, and optical supplies, ensuring the practice is always well-stocked.
• Conduct monthly inventory audits to monitor stock levels and adjust selections based on patient demand.
• Verify vendor invoices, ensuring accurate charges and negotiating for the best pricing and terms for the practice.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely product delivery and resolving any supply chain issues.

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

• Perform opening and closing tasks, including cash drawer reconciliation and handling financial transactions.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming optical space that reflects our high standards of care.
