Your Role in Our Company
As an Optical Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional eye care services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include collecting and recording patient medical histories, performing visual acuity testing, auto refractions, and tonometry measurements.
You will also assist with contact lens fitting and instructing patients on insertion and removal of contacts. In addition, you will participate in light cleaning of the facility and maintain a sanitized environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience assisting in an optical practice or as an optometrist assistant is required.
- Ophthalmic experience is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities
- Superior interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
- You must be able to effectively multi-task and pay attention to detail.
