Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant

As we are growing rapidly, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage our financial operations with precision, efficiency, and integrity.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who has experience managing finances for companies with $10M in annual revenue. This role requires strong accounting skills and financial acumen. You will work closely with ownership, operations, and external accountants to ensure our books are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Process and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts.
- Ensure proper categorization of revenue and expenses for accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Provide monthly financial reports to management and offer insights on financial performance.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability.
- Payroll & Tax Compliance:
- Oversee weekly payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll tax calculations.
- Manage sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Work with CPAs to ensure compliance with all state and federal tax regulations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
- Oversee customer invoicing, payment collections, and aging reports.
- Manage vendor payments and negotiate payment terms to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors regarding billing issues.
- Process Improvement & System Optimization:
- Improve financial processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain best practices in financial management.
- Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial software to streamline operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
· 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a mid-to-large-size company ($10M revenue).
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software.
· Experience with job costing, inventory accounting, and cash flow management.
· Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and communicate financial insights to leadership.
· Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.75 - $22.76 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
