Job overview: The director of operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that processes are efficient, cost are controlled, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage cross -functional teams to drive operational excellence and company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Stratagy & Planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and service delivery.
- Align Operations with overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead the execution of operational initiatives to support business growth.
2. Process Improvements and Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Optimize work flows and operational l systems to enhance the quality of products or services
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high -performing team of operations managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
4.Financial Oversight and Budget Management
- Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for operational departments.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality
- Ensure the efficient use of resources to meet operational goals
5. Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services to customers.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and quality.
6. Performance monitoring and reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate operational success.
- Monitor operational performance and report on progress to senior leadership
- Take corrective actions as needed to adresss underperformance or operational challenges.
7. Risk management & Compliance:
- Ensure that operations comply with all legal regulatory and industry standards.
- Develop and implement risk management stratagies to mitigate operational risk.
- Monitor safety, security, and environmental practices across all operational areas.
8. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (Sales , Marketing, HR, Finance, and Production)to ensure alignment between operations and other business functions.
- Communicate operational needs and performance updates to executive team.
9. Customer Service and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that operational practices meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Implement quality assurance programs to address any issues related to service or product quality.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard office hours , with evenings or weekends required depending on business needs.
Compensation:
A competitive salary, with performance based bonuses and benefits package.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
