Manager of Application Development

Our client, a credit union located in Broomfield, CO, is currently in need of a Manager of Application Development for a full time position. This individual will be onsite 50% of the time to manage and supervise the core development team, which is working on enhancing the banking system, Symitar and other enterprise applications. This individual will be collaborating with other business units and internal IT teams to deliver enterprise solutions. They should be experienced in the financial field and have direct experience working with financial technologies such as the Jack Henry suite, MeridianLink, Encompass, etc.

Required Skills:

• 6 years working with financial institution technologies, Jack Henry is highly preferred but other platforms such as Encompass, MeridianLink etc. is acceptable
  
• Experience managing and leading a team of developers
  
• Hands on experience developing, integrating and supporting core banking applications (Symitar/Power On, RepGen)
  
• Experience in software development methodologies, version control and testing practices
  
• Understanding of the principles of project management in an agile environment

Nice to Haves:

• IBM AIX operating system knowledge
  
• Understanding of SQL development for relational databases, HTML, JavaScript
