Our client, located in NC, is currently in need of a Sr NetApp Engineer for a 6 month contract. The consultant will work remotely in support of NetApp SAN and NAS storage platforms as the technical advisor for all things NetApp.

- Providing in-depth knowledge of NetApp storage products like Data ONTAP, AFF, FAS, Cloud Volumes, and related features like snapshots, replication, and data protection mechanisms.
- Architecting storage solutions based on business requirements, including capacity planning, performance optimization, and data migration strategies
- Overseeing the installation, configuration, and deployment of NetApp storage systems, including data migration strategies.
- Providing technical support to internal teams or clients, resolving complex storage issues, and acting as a primary point of contact for NetApp related queries
- Deep understanding of NetApp Data ONTAP operating system
- Expertise in storage protocols like Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS
- Knowledge of data protection technologies like snapshots, replication, and disaster recovery
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Experience with system administration and network management
- Experience with Commvault
