What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Technical Consultant – Hyperconverged Infrastucture position at ClearBridge Technology Group?
Our client, a professional services company located in Wisconsin, is looking to hire a Senior Technical Consultant – Hyperconverged Infrastructure for a 240-hour contract. The consultant will be working onsite between Pewaukee and Cottage Grove, WI locations. The consultant will be working 20 hours per week throughout the course of the contract.
The candidate will be working closely in a team environment with other end-client resources, as well as individually on tasks. All projects will be run by the end-client’s project management. Examples of projects they will support are upgrades from vSphere 7 to 8, CG/PWK Voice & Lab Clusters, racking and stacking, AOS 6.10/7 Upgrades, AHV Migrations in the lab, and decommissioning old clusters.
The consultant will also performoperational maintenance for patching Nutanix, ESXi, vCenter 7x or post 8x migration patches. The consultant will also perform hardware modifications (i.e. Add Disk, RAM, GPU, etc.)

Required Skills
- Candidate should be proficient with current and past versions of VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV, Nutanix (NX) hardware platforms, Windows Server operating systems
- Have performed multiple vSphere 7 to 8 migrations for other clients.
- Experience with Nutanix, ESXi, vCenter 7x or post 8x migration patches
- Experience with AOS 6.10/7 Upgrades
- Experience with hardware modifications (i.e. Add Disk, RAM, GPU, etc.)
