What are the responsibilities and job description for the TS/SCI Sr. Systems Administrator position at ClearBridge Technology Group?
Our client, a large government contractor with offices in Linthicum, MD, is in need of a TS / SCI Systems Administrator to work onsite for a 6-month contract to hire position. The Systems Administrator will support our client's federal customers in special access programs. The Systems Administrator will be supporting a mix of Linux and Windows servers (80% Linux, 20% Windows). Duties will include maintaining the operation of the entire computer infrastructure on the program including systems, software, security, end user support, and networks. The Systems Administrator will deploy STIGS, perform vulnerability remediation with RMF and JSIG Standards, and use Splunk to maintain indexers. The Systems Administrator will build VMs from scratch. Our client is currently migrating / upgrading RHEL 7.9 systems to RHEL 8.x and is creating a new environment that requires both Windows / Linux experience.
Required Skills
- Master's Degree with 7 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of IT experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 11 years of IT experience; OR a High School Diploma / GED with 13 years of IT experience is required
Must have a DOD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (example : Security CE); maintaining the required certification will be a condition of continued employment
Linux Workstation and Server management experience is required
