Summary Reporting to the Chief Clinical and Development Officer, the VP of Clinical Strategy and Implementation is responsible for the creation and adoption of the network-wide clinical strategy and clinical operations roadmap to improve patient experience. This executive will lead and deliver clinical strategy innovation and operational objectives to improve the clinical operations as well as for the testing and adoption of new, innovative clinical products, services and technologies. Examples include, but are not limited to digital enhancements, improving days to final, reduction of clinical backlog, clinical research and pilots, and new clinical product offerings. Responsibilities Identify, develop and refine potential clinical research and operational initiatives, including project scoping, timelines, resource requirements and milestones. Develop, manage and maintain the clinical innovation and operations roadmap, holding projects accountable for achieving the expected results. Prioritize, sequence, and resource implementation of clinical initiatives, ensuring center adoption of new initiatives while minimizing operational and clinical disruption. Bring analytical rigor and a sense of accountability to the clinical operations and clinical research. Implement metrics scorecard to continually measure, track and report performance. Support Director of Research to facilitate new methodologies and publishing of Clinical Research to elevate our brand. Understand center operations, clinical workflows and operational metrics / KPIs to assess center and network growth constraints and opportunities. Collaborate with the VP of Clinical Support, field leadership, operations team to create the strategy and provide oversight to clinical operations - reducing days to final to improve the patient experience. Motivate, develop and mentor clinical affairs and development team. Foster positive team engagement, culture and ethic through collaboration, coordination, and communication. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and thought leader to the Clinical Affairs and Development Officer and the other executive team on clinical operations and innovation issues. Key Attributes & Qualifications 8 years of progressive advancement in strategy, patient experience and / or operations management. Proven strength visualizing and leading strategic change. Ability to identify issues and opportunities, structure solutions, shape analyses, provide strategic recommendations, and drive execution. Strategic and analytical thinker with experience building strong systems and processes and precision in execution. Experience with analytically-heavy operations projects. Proven track record managing people to achieve their highest potential. Structured thinking and communication skills. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and business acumen. Self-motivated, ability to drive projects with minimal oversight. Comfort and excitement for building new things. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Former management or strategy consulting experience is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred. Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications.
