Job Description
Cleared Staffing Solutions is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to support our client on Fort Meade, Maryland. This position does require an Active TS / SCI / FSP.
Description :
Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration.
Requirements
Required Skills :
Support rack, stack, and cabling; good with lifting 40-50 lbs. Foundation in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes ,and vSphere. Ansible experience is preferred. Must be willing to travel.
The Level 2 System Integration Engineer shall possess the following capabilities :
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications on
Linux and Windows platforms
staging, testing and integration
integration at field sites and local lab environments
sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting
diagnosis and resolution of problems
and during field installations
for new deployments or system upgrades
system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
from an accredited college or university is required.
Eight (8) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or
systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
A Master's Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing
the total years of experience to six (6).
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.
