Your Mission
As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Information Technology (IT) systems to ensure seamless operations. You will manage IT system infrastructure, provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, and optimize system performance. Your expertise will contribute to problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and more.
\n- Skilled in providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Proficient in managing Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
- Experienced in maintaining system integrity and implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal customers, agency management, and technical teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Adept at resource utilization, capacity analysis, and system performance tuning.
- Oversee daily configuration and operation of IT systems
- Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues across various platforms.
- Provide user support and assist customers with accessing and utilizing IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain integrity of network components while implementing system enhancements.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets to improve IT processes.
- Configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments, ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (may substitute 5 years of additional experience for a degree).
- Experience with Linux
- Assist users with system access and usage
- Configure Cisco and Palo Alto switches and firewalls
- Support IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting for client, server, storage, and network devices
- STE/STN compliance
- CWIP Cert: IAT Level 2
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (Expert in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
- Experience with virtual machines
- Configuring IPSEC tunnels and VPN tunneling
- Proficient in Ansible (Playbooks)
- Skilled in scripting (Bash/other)
- Automation expertise
- Cabling, documentation, and rack & stack setup
- IAVA patching
- Familiar with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
