Your Mission:
Join ClearEdge as a Systems Administrator where you will analyze technical issues, develop corrective actions, and ensure smooth operations of complex network infrastructure. You will design technical solutions based on user needs, develop strategies for migrating customers to new architectures, and evaluate cutting-edge technologies to enhance Agency-standard solutions.
In this role, your expertise will help keep networks secure and efficient, driving success across a wide range of technical objectives.

- Focused on system administration and able to support hardware and network infrastructure
- Experienced in implementing new technologies with minimal impact to users
- Actively managing and monitoring enterprise computer systems and networks
- Analyzing and addressing technical issues to ensure smooth operations
- Translating user requests into technical diagnoses and solutions
- Developing strategies to migrate customers to new technologies
- Evaluating new technologies to improve system performance and security
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Associate’s degree plus 7 years of experience, or
- High school diploma/GED plus 9 years of experience
- Relevant experience in systems design, network security, penetration testing, or systems administration
- Ability to obtain an IAT-I certification (A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, or SSCP)
- Strong Linux experience and expertise in systems/network administration and IT management
- Experience with hardware installation, setting up network-attached storage, and implementing security best practices, including PKI certificate management
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting languages (Bash, Bourne, or C)
- Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
- Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
- Experience working in cloud computing environments like AWS
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, SALT, Ansible, and system monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with SELinux and FIPS
