What are the responsibilities and job description for the Correctional Officer (Full-Time) and (Part-Time) position at Clearfield County Government?
Applicants must have Corrections Officer position experience and ideally be an active CO at another institution. Position is Part Time with a varied schedule. Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide protection of inmates, staff and visitors at the Clearfield County prison. Employees in this classification perform supervisory and protective work. Position is responsible for processing new and released inmates, maintaining inmate accountability, controlling access within the prison, and maintaining order and behavior of inmates. Performs related work as directed.
