POSITION TITLE : Marketing Automation and Corporate Communications Specialist
OBJECTIVE :
Responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing operations with an emphasis on marketing automation campaigns. Acting as marketing automation power user, this role will drive end-to-end digital marketing campaign support aimed at strengthening brand and market share and driving revenue opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the corporate Marketing Communications team to strategically develop branded content for Clearfield’s social media presence and the production of Clearfield’s newsletter and Learning Management System (LMS) Clearfield College components.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
DIGITAL MARKETING
- Build, test and optimize B2B lifecycle digital marketing automation campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, retention, and advocacy.
- Create, review and optimize email marketing programs including demand generation, lead scoring, nurturing and data workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that project and campaign requirements are appropriate to achieve KPI targets.
- Optimize workflows, content, and cadence to drive higher conversion rates and drive qualified prospects into the sales pipeline.
- Identify opportunities for A / B testing that effectively drive ROI throughout marketing funnel. Use AI tools for audience analysis, predictive analysis and campaign optimization.
- Leverage AI for automated A / B testing and workflow enhancements.
- Utilize emerging technology awareness. Stay updated on AI, machine learning and marketing automation trends to inform strategy.
- Work collaboratively to determine effective database segmentation to reach the right audience with the right message at the right time.
- Use AI solutions and partner cross-functionally with sales and marketing to manage and maintain data integrity and database hygiene to grow and improve marketable contacts in database.
- Manage the use and continuous development of marketing automation templates including emails, landing pages and fill forms.
- Create and manage fill forms to ensure proper set up, utilization and optimization.
- Work with marketing operations team to create scalable processes to enforce best practices and for lead and campaign management.
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
Drive content creation of enterprise communications to customers, distributors, media and other stakeholders :
Lead social media initiatives, including strategizing, planning, developing, implementing and measuring posts on all corporate platforms. Monitor social media interactions, analyze, interpret and act upon trends.Contribute as needed, which may include responding to or cleaning the accounts to keep Clearfield’s messaging targeted and positiveCollaborate with Product Management and others internally to produce blogs, case studies, the monthly newsletter and other marketing materialDevelop and write engaging narratives, bringing new creative ideas to messagingSupport senior leadership in their communications to internal and external stakeholdersBuild rapport and effective relationships with internal clients and colleaguesLead Marketing’s area of LMS Clearfield College Online :
Create new Clearfield College Online course direction, collaborate in script development and revise existing ones – to expand our distributor, customer and employee trainingCollaborate with internal clients, such as Product Management, to determine and build appropriate training courses with value propositionsDevelop and generate reports that measure Clearfield College performance in meeting organizational objectivesTroubleshoot to provide users with an optimal learning experienceManage all steps of communication assignments from information gathering to final publication :
Conduct interviews and otherwise gather subject material for content developmentUtilize AI to expand on the volume of content generation.Write headlines and content, gather and apply photography, graphics and creative treatments to better tell the storyFollow writing and quality standards (including the Clearfield Editorial Style Guide) to ensure consistent messaging, tone and Clearfield brand standard identityReview, edit, proofread and otherwise ready for final publicationPerform other duties as assigned. Proactively suggest and implement strategies / tactics that would strengthen Clearfield’s marketing objectives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field5 years digital marketing experience, preferably in marketing automation, data base marketing or campaign management.Working knowledge of AI-driven insights and analyticsWorking knowledge of A / B testing and automation.Experience with Digital Marketing platform : Act-On platform preferred.Strong knowledge of social media (preferably B2B experience) and MS OfficeSuperb corporate communications writing and editing skillsConsultative mindset, creative thinkingContinuous Improvement MindsetChange Management MindsetStrong organizational skills and flexibility to work in interrupt-driven environmentStrong time and project management / coordination skillsSelf-motivated and proactive about meeting time, quality and cost objectivesHigh level of professional integrity, confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive issuesPerform other duties as assigned.
