Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the custodial operations of the facility
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing
- Handle commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, trash removal, and window cleaning
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Train and supervise custodial staff members
- Coordinate with other departments to address facility maintenance needs
- Follow established safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in custodial and facilities maintenance work
- Proficiency in floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate tools and equipment
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively supervise staff members
