Summary:
The Incline Village Site Manager will be responsible for assisting with all managerial aspects of on-site activities at the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park and Incline Village check-in locations for Clearly Tahoe. This role will be responsible for ensuring all operations are running smoothly by preventing problems, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive environment for both customers and staff. The Incline Village Site Manager will assist with hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews and disciplinary actions with the oversight of the CEO/General Manager and HR Manager. This role will ensure all staff are trained and will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, equipment and safety checks, inventory, and EAP drills. The Incline Village Site Manager will work with the reservation team to resolve issues and complaints and prevent problems from reoccurring. This role will be responsible for some reporting and will be expected to attend managerial meetings. Occasionally, The Incline Village Site Manager will be trained in all aspects of the business in Incline Village and serve as a back-up for roles if needed. This role will be required to make weather and safety calls and communicate these decisions with other departments. This individual will be expected to cover some duties of the Activities Manager during their days off.

Clearly Tahoe is a full-service recreational company in the Lake Tahoe area that specializes in guided tours and rentals on both land and water. We currently feature guided tours from 5 different Lake Tahoe locations, operate 1 rental concession on Lake Tahoe and 2 adventure-themed retail shops in the Tahoe basin. In addition to our popular tours in completely transparent kayaks, Clearly Tahoe also offers on-site rentals from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park, hiking, biking and snowshoe tours during the off-season. Our sister location based out of California offers 2 additional tour locations and guided excursions that depart from our 46-foot tri-toon, the Clearly Explorer. With a team of more than 60 employees, Clearly Tahoe offers a variety of both seasonal and year-round positions, in-house training, and growth opportunities.
Work Environment
The Incline Village Site Manager works in a dynamic and diverse environment, including our shops, shared office settings, and regularly on the beach at Sand Harbor State Park. This role requires flexibility, as the manager will seamlessly transition between overseeing operations indoors and working outdoors, ensuring smooth operations in all settings. Whether coordinating with the team in the office, interacting with customers at the shop, or managing beach-side activities, the ideal candidate will thrive in various environments, maintaining a high level of organization and customer service.
Schedule
The Incline Village Site Manager will generally work an 8-10 hour shifts and scheduled 5 days per week. Shifts will start as early as 6:00am and as late as 11:00pm depending on the season. The Incline Village Site Manager may be asked to assist with events and management initiatives from time to time.
This is a Seasonal Role Starting in March and ending in October/November (weather dependent)
Primary Job Duties
- Help oversee all operational aspects for select location/Incline Village, NV
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary action of employees.
- Oversee team in fast-paced environment. Ensure staff take breaks.
- Coordinate safety drills and training.
- Implement Emergency Action Plans when necessary.
- Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks.
- Communicate with other departments.
- Assist guests with on-site activities
- Help schedule team.
- Help resolve staffing issues when necessary.
- Attend managerial meetings
- Conduct routine reports
- Run inventory checks.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task

- Must be fluent in English
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Proficient kayaking skills
- Proficient paddle boarding skills
- Clean driving record
- Lifeguard Skills -> Able to swim 300 yards (freestyle or breaststroke) Able to surface dive to 10 feet and retrieve a 10lb. object. Tread water for 2 minutes etc.
Certifications/Licenses
- Driver’s License (Will be required to drive regularly)
- First Aid/CPR
- Lifeguard Certification
- Paramedic License (Preferred)
- MT Certification (Preferred)
- Boating License (Preferred)
Compensation
- Training Rate: $18.00/hour Management Training (Nevada)
- Starting Rate: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
- Long Term Rate Range: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour
Supplemental pay types
