Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
- Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator
- Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service
- Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed
Accepting all applicants currently living in central/ south Louisiana. The job is work from home, but I would like to be able to meet with you in person if I ever need to. I would also like you to be relatively close in case I need you for a realtor event. I am a fair employer and will expect a hard working and dedicated employee. The work will hopefully never get less, but your pay will grow as the work grows. You and I will be a team to try to help as many people and families buy as many houses as we can. We will not give up when some of our more difficult deals get tough or when we run into road blocks. We will think of ways to figure out the problem and change our course of action.
I need a person who will handle a lot of the interactions with clients- in terms of income gathering, pre-qualifications, loan originating and loan processing. I have a loan processor who you will work with for every file. I will look for you to be able to bring the loan file to closing alongside the processor. I need someone who knows how to work a file and knows how to read an approval. You should be able to think through the approval and gather the proper documentation. I am hoping to find someone who can analyze the loan approval similar to how I would.
I am a mortgage broker and the clients I serve range from low credit scores to high credit scores. You will learn how to run tests on clients' credit to help them build their credit up to where we need it to be. I will teach you all of my strategies to help all of our applicants.
