Related Tasks / Requirements:
- Think and react to the changing needs of the daily tasks for the job efficiency
- Work extended hours when needed for job completion
- Lifting and carrying heavy tooling
- Utilize hand and power tools as needed
- Ability to navigate job sites including steep muddy terrain
- Handle and operate mud pumps and hoses
- Handle vacuum hoses for vac trucks
- Utilize various construction hand tools for use on all project (shovels, rakes, tamps, etc)
- Perform basic equipment maintenance daily
- Perform setup and mobilization tasks for each job location
- Maintain clean organized jobsite and vehicles by utilizing good housekeeping skills
- Record daily time via cell phone application
- Properly follow directives of Foreman
- Properly operate all designated equipment for the project
- Other duties as assigned
Standards:
- Drug free with zero tolerance
- Maintain and display a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Maintain clean driving record
- Uphold a Safety-First Policy at all times
Measurables:
- No more than 1 write up for a quality issue within 45 days
- Achieve or surpass production goals set by Leadership Team
- No more than 1 unexcused absence in a 60-day period.
- CDL license within 1.5 years of hire.
Special requirements:
- Knowledgeable in operation of HDD rig
- Knowledgeable in operating all jobsite equipment
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and repair
- Basic understanding and proper use of hand tools
- Reading one personal development book or audio per half year and provide review
- Possess a creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements and a desire for continual learning and self-improvement
- CDL – Commercial Driver License with Class A, Tanker, Air Brakes, Combination
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure project completion within standards
- Understanding that this position may require me to travel outside of my normal working area as part of my job
