DUTIES:
- Reviews, correct, and document daily and monthly volume distributions.
- Ensure timely and accurate accruals and final volume reports for revenue accounting.
- Establish new wells and set up production measurement equipment in Avocet.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with field operators, foremen, and superintendents regarding Avocet and Field Operator data input.
- Assist the team in reconciling volume discrepancies among allocated volumes, estimated daily outputs, and purchaser statements through Avocet and Spotfire.
- Prepare and submit production reports to state and federal agencies.
- Input and reconcile crude oil and water tickets with third-party statements.
- Process Purchase Price Allocations (PPAs) as needed.
- Possess a solid understanding of field equipment and process workflows.
- Compile partner reports for monthly submissions.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing activities.
- 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas production accounting and regulatory reporting.
- Thorough knowledge of production accounting practices, including allocation methods and reconciliation processes.
- In-depth understanding of field data collection and workflows.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines effectively.
- Required proficiency in Avocet or Spotfire and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and drawing independent conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Associate’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Energy Technology, Business/Finance, or a related field is required.
