Clearr Vission Support Services Inc. Adult Developmental Disabilities Division is currently seeking a motivated Day Support Specialist that have integrity, dedication and compassion. The full time Day Support Specialist position supports adults with Developmental Disabilities with daily activities within a community and center-based environment.

Requirements: Day Support Specialist I
- High school diploma with one year experience in the Human Services field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in human services preferred but not required.
- Valid driving license, CPR, First Aid, Medication Management and Direct Support Professional training required
- Compassionate, initiative, task oriented and good communication skills.
Job Description and Qualifications: Day Support Specialist I
- Assist individuals with skill building to enhance in the following areas: education and domestic skills and community integration;
- Provide encouragement and motivation to individuals;
- Provide opportunity for the community involvement for individuals;
- Administer medication;
- Assist individuals in problem solving, decision making and general information acquisition;
- Provide transportation to community activities;
- Complete required paperwork, daily log, incident reports, support logs, medication charts, data collections;
- Assists in the implementation of individual service plan and behavior objectives and plans;
- Assist with maintaining weekly group training plan;
- Provide appropriate reinforcement and assistance in obtaining goals; and
- Attend morning and afternoon debrief meetings;
- Attend monthly meeting and all required in-services training
- Help meal prep, light cleaning, assist with personal care of individuals to ensure health and safety concerns etc.
