Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team to meet project deadlines.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including Bulldozer, excavator, backhoe, front end loader, skid steer, haul truck, roller compactor, etc.
- Perform digging and excavation tasks using excavators and other relevant machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment in various conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
- Proficient in the operation of front loader trucks, backhoes, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and bulldozers.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in executing tasks.
- Ability and willingness to get out of the machine and help the men on the ground. THIS IS A MUST!
