The primary duties of this position include:
· Implementing standard drafting procedures and policies.
· Defining best practices utilizing SharePoint and SolidWorks.
· Optimizing drawing packages for use internally and by partners and fabricators
· Creating customer specific drawing packages that meet site requirements.
· Contributing member of our design team working to improve existing technology and also the improvement of our operations.
Requirements
- Degree or Certificate in CAD Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology.
- Highly skilled in SolidWorks, including Sheet Metal and Weldments
- 5 – 10 years of drafting design experience.
- 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly.
- 3D Modeling: Ability to create and modify 3D models and assemblies.
- Technical Drawing Standards: Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- File Management: Ability to manage and organize CAD files and documentation systematically.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM)
- Ability to troubleshoot design issues and optimize models for manufacturability, assembly, or construction.
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated, self-starter, problem solver
The following will be an advantage
- Experience in the burner, boiler, flare, or process heater industry
- Having the following certifications.
- SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design
- SOLIDWORKS Advanced Surfacing
- SOLIDWORKS Advanced Drawing Tools
- SOLIDWORKS Advanced Sheet Metal
- SOLIDWORKS Advanced Weldments
- Familiarity with API-560 and API-535
The position will be based in Tulsa OK with an anticipated salary in the range of $85,000 to $125,000 depending on education and experience along with company benefits.
