Institutional Operations Analyst - Hybrid Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Institutional Operations Analyst – Hybrid Remote to join our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm. This position is responsible for supporting the Institutional Managing Directors in various functions by offering high quality client interaction and administrative support.

This position offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week after initial training period.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with institutional clients by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Support client account maintenance and administration, including interacting with custodians, processing transactions, updating records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilizes and follows departmental policies and procedures and recommends enhancements
• Processes account openings, closures, onboardings and offboarding
• Work closely with internal teams, including portfolio managers, analysts, and compliance, to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Document procedures as needed to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Maintain and organize client documentation and information, ensuring all records are up-to-date
• Assist in the onboarding process for new institutional clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and processed while also ensuring a smooth transition and integration into our services.
• Administer private investments including completing subscription documents and coordinating funding
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the team

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant experience at an investment management firm, accounting firm, law firm, or financial institution.
• Knowledge of investment-related operational procedures.
• Understanding of alternative investment administration.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a demanding environment where time management, attention to detail, follow-through, and meeting deadlines are critical.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Strong client orientation with a focus on providing exceptional service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
